There are many reasons for the program making its way to being the most popular option for dive professionals looking to further their education, knowledge and career within the recreational diving industry.

The program is well known for its quality of both professionalism and education, having been recognized by the industry and awarded by PADI with the “Outstanding Contribution to Professional Development” Award and received multiple reviews from past candidates. The program is entirely conducted by PADI Course Director Holly Macleod who has been recognized within the industry as one of the best Instructpadiidcindonesia-dsd-feb-2bor level trainers in the world and has won multiple awards of recognition including the “Platinum” PADI status Award which recognizes a limited number of PADI Course Directors for their professionalism and dedication to the scuba diving industry. Holly received the highest possible rating; the “Platinum” Status. Another award received by Holly is the PADI Elite Instructor Award which is presented to instructors based on the number of certifications issued in a particular year. Awards come in the form of the 50,100,150,200,250 and 300 certification. Although Holly certified nearly 500 Instructor certifications in 2015 she received the highest possible Award available; the “Elite-300” Award in recognition of her pure experience.

Although the course is conducted in a way to achieve the highest possible educational benefit to the candidates, Holly has also designed the program with a philosophy that she has used throughout her career within the industry of making all training fun and engaging for all participants; a philosophy that has been adopted and used for years throughout the diving industry within multiple organizations.

The program takes place at the first ever established PADI 5 Star IDC Career Development Center (CDC) in the Gili Islands offering world class training facilities including Instructor training classroom facilities, 2 onsite training swimming pools and a dedicated IDC training boat which departs from the beach directly outside the dive shop for training sessions on the purpose built training site. Other facilities include a beachfront restaurant and bar. The Gili Islands are a rapidly growing tourist destination with more tourist visiting the Gili Islands year upon year and therefore more and more people choosing to take entry level dive courses. The increase in diving activities on the islands has also paved the way for more dive operators and more diving related job opportunities.
